MOOSE JAW, Sask. – Adam Dixon scored the game dominating objective in the third period as Canada crushed Czechia 2-1 on Tuesday night at the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championships.

With the triumph, the Canadians have two successes and no misfortunes in the starter round. They are tied for best position with the U.S. in Pool A. The Canadians face their archrivals on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. neighborhood (7 p.m. ET), to finish off their primer timetable. The game can be observed live on HockeyCanada.ca.

“We clearly didn’t have the beginning or the game we needed, however we can be pleased with our work and glad for doing combating through,” said Dixon, from Midland, Ont. ”We watched Czechia’s most memorable game; they move the puck well, they’re quick and they’re an excellent hockey group. We can’t be astounded by the work they put out there this evening.”

Group Canada chief Tyler McGregor opened the scoring at the 9:35 imprint in the main period. Yet, Radek Zelinka tied it from the get-go in the second on a strategic maneuver. McGregor helped on the victor with an ideal pass to Dixon and was likewise named the player of the game.
